Blair worked with our dog about 10 years ago when Toad was just 1 year old. Our dog was very scared and unsure of himself. He would bark aggressively at other dogs, strangers, everything that scared him. Blair kept him longer than the original planned time because Toad wasn’t coming around. Blair called and said he could get the right response from Toad, but it was out of fear and that wasn’t healthy. He kept Toad longer to build trust with him and by doing so was able to get through his tough dog act. We learned the importance of consistency, walks and being the pack leader. Blair has been there for us over the years if we had any new issues or questions. Thanks to Blair, Toad is 11 now and has had a good life. He has been a great family dog and we haven’t had any behavioral problems/incidents. Toad still is not a fan of other dogs, but we can pass other dogs on walks or on car rides and he doesn’t bark aggressively or lunge at them. We truly believe Blair saved Toad’s life. Thanks to Blair’s knowledge and teaching, we were able to keep Toad and have a great life with him. Blair knows what he is talking about and truly cares about the dogs he works with.

This review has been a long time coming from us. I could not be happier with with what we got. It was well worth every penny. It's now a year later and our dog's behavior has only continued to improve, and our relationship with her even more so. From the initial consult it was clear that Blair Diamond was both competent and passionate about what he does. We were prepared to pay the money for the full board and train. But, in the discussion he felt it wouldn't be necessary and that we would be better served to take the three week online class. This was a fraction of the cost, and from a consumer perspective, this speaks volumes about his motivation and integrity. He COULD have UP sold us, but that wasn't what he felt would be best for Olive. We were worried that having an older dog with behavioral issues (people, dog, and cat aggression to name a few) would be impossible to address. We were wrong. You CAN teach and old dog new tricks, and there absolutely is hope! The class taught us a great deal about how to communicate and understand our dog and dogs in general. We learned how to correct correctly and how to have a better and healthier relationship with our dog. Blair used each module as a foundation to work on our specific issues. The class is definitely a big commitment, as it should be. There is a schedule that is important to stick to and there are some supplies that you will need just like any other class. Make no mistake you will get out of this class what you put in to it. Blair was very good about working with us to customize everything for our specific needs, and takes an individual approach. We would have regular texts, phone calls, and zoom meetings to ensure everything was going well and to help us when we stumbled. I am truly grateful for everything we learned here. Thank you Blair Diamond!

My husband and I came to Blair feeling completely defeated. Our two 50+ pound American Bullies Zuri and Bonk were reactive on walks, would lunge at dogs and people, growl at kids, be constantly stressed, and they did not get along in the house. They couldn’t be together for more than an hour without fighting, and on top of that, they were chasing our cats nonstop. The whole house felt tense. After trying other programs and positive reinforcement‑only approaches that didn’t help, we were honestly skeptical anything would work. Working with Blair changed everything. The way he explains behavior, the analogies he uses, and the way he breaks down our role in the dogs’ stress made everything finally click. We realized how much our own behavior was unintentionally making things worse and how important it is to correct correctly. I never understood how big of a difference that could make until Blair showed us. Today, our dogs walk calmly by our side. I never imagined I’d be able to walk two strong bullies together without chaos, but here we are. Inside the house, the fights are now minimal, and we’re able to step in, redirect, and correct them before anything escalates. And one of the biggest changes: our cats can now roam the house freely without being chased. Finding Blair was the best thing we could have done for our dogs and for ourselves. If you’re struggling with reactivity, multi‑dog conflict, or dogs who won’t leave your cats alone, don’t give up, because Blair truly knows what he’s doing.

I had been doing positive reinforcement training for over a year with very little progress. It was impossible to continuously put my dog in low stimulant situation where I could positively reinforce. I was considering board and train however, was hesitant because I had heard the dog often regresses once they return home. I felt really stuck. That’s when I stumbled upon Blair’s virtual behavioral training coaching program. He teaches you how to board and train your own dog. The results are quite remarkable. Within just a couple sessions my dog stopped barking and lounging at dogs and strangers. The program provides the content via lessons and he gives you a detailed schedule. Blair is there for you every step of the way. His response time is nearly immediate. As questions and issues arise , he coaches you through it. It’s really how dog training should be and is beyond brilliant. I highly recommend this program, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t say enough good things about Blair and the work he’s done with us. I was really hesitant at first. I didn’t feel comfortable sending my dogs away for weeks, but I also wasn’t sure about doing a virtual program and having it all fall on me. Blair made the whole process feel easy and actually doable. He’s always willing to hop on a call, watch videos, and give honest feedback on what we’re doing right and what needs to change. That kind of support made a huge difference. I have two giant mastiffs that were completely running the house. One is a blind, reactive Cane Corso and the other is a Bullmastiff I couldn’t walk at all. Walks used to be full of anxiety and I would only go out at times when no one else was around. In less than a month, everything changed. I can now walk both of them, even at the same time, and pass triggers without losing control. I’ve honestly cried tears of happiness over the progress. Blair gave us our life back. We can finally enjoy our dogs instead of living in constant stress. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Thank you Blair!!

Blair is amazing for understanding the psychology of dogs and helping people with any behavior issues with their dogs.. we rescued our chocolate lab at 14mos and and he had some issues.. we tried a couple other trainers who provided similar information as Blair but Blairs curriculum and the way he explains things and applies the knowledge is second to none. Highly recommend Primal Needs!

Blair and his program have been awesome! We have a very difficult aggressive dog and did not expect results as quick as we did. He has become much calmer and doesn’t pull on the leash. We are looking forward to completing the program and seeing how peaceful and joyful it will be to interact with our newest family member.

We own two dogs - one Bernadoodle and one St Berdoodle. Blair did an exceptional job with them, both during their one month board training and the follow up. . His professionalism and deep knowledge of canine behavior is evident in every session. He also has a great sense of humor, which makes the training process enjoyable and relaxed, while still being productive. Blair not only cares about our dogs, but he also cares about our success as owners. We highly recommend Blair to anyone looking for a skilled, committed and personable trainer.

Our family worked with Blair for our very alpha Pomeranian, Gizmo, helping us realize that you train a small dog the same as a large one. Just because a small dog can easily jump into your lap, it doesn’t mean it should do so uninvited. Blair’s approach is holistic and sensible. We were much better dog owners, and Gizmo was a happy, behaved member of our pack, after Primal Needs taught and trained us all. Highly recommend his services!
