EXTREMELY dog reactive

From Hillary
Hillary's dog

I’m a bit late writing this review, but I can’t speak well enough to Blair’s talent as a behaviorist. I was faced with 7 back-to-back life-altering challenges between March and July 2025, not the least of which was being diagnosed with cancer, whilst being firm about emigrating to Europe at the end of September.

However, I was not willing to put my 8.5 y/o German Shepherd in cargo for the trip. He had passed his psychiatric service dog training to be able to fly in-cabin with me, but he was still EXTREMELY dog reactive despite getting a minimum 5-mile/day walk, usually 7-10 miles.

With this characteristic, I was nervous about us not being able to board the plane if he had a freak out in the airports especially since little dogs are his real kryptonite.

I contacted Blair for help and he quickly diagnosed the problem (me) and came up with a menu of proposed solutions in different price ranges. I chose his remote program, which entails very thorough and helpful instructional videos, and then he is always available for feedback when you send him videos of your training sessions.

There is NO doubt in my mind that if I had been able to schedule Blair for in-person sessions, my dog would have been good to go within hours because even just the video training allowed me to get him (or me) to a reasonably acceptable point of behavior.

Fritz successfully flew in cabin with me for our scheduled flight and was so good and well-mannered that everyone assumed he was a seasoned traveler. We’ve been in Italy a little over a month now and Blair’s professional guidance in helping this new life materialize was a priceless element to making it here and starting our new life.
